Summary: An article which first discusses Lawson's Idlewild, q.v., and then examines two alternatives to the assassination of Israeli Prime Minister Rabin. In the first, it is instead Foreign Minister Peres who is killed and Rabin pushes the peace process even harder as a result. In the second, Rabin is only wounded and is later accused of using the incident for political gain.
